hello. i am new on here. i am in a really bad slump right now. there is no work. barely enough money to buy diapers.husband cant find work.he is applying for ssi due to mentl illness.i have 3 daughters 5,2,and 1 years old.i am suffering serious depression.my kids are due for shots no money to get to the drs.wic wants shots up to date but cant afford to get to the drs.cant get tanf due to no transportion to get to the long hours of class the exspect me to attend even though there is no childcare or anyone to leave my chidren with everyday. i dont know what to do.cell phone is shut off net is due to be turned off any time now.water and electric is both shut off notices.PLEASE IF ANY ONE HAS THE MEANS TO HELP IN ANY WHY WITH MONEY CLOTHES DIAPERS ANYTHING PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I BEG IF U WANT TO HELP A YOUNG FAMILY IN VERY REAL NEED HELP US OUT.ALSO MY DISABLED AUNT STAYS WITH US,HER MONEY BARELY PAYS FOR RENT AND HER ADULT DAIPERS. PLEASE HELP US OUT. ANY INFO PLEASES

Hello. I am am looking for help and prayer. My husband had a very successful small business for many years. About a year ago, his business went under forcing us to file bankruptcy. We kept only the house. I work as a nurse and made enough money to cover the terms of the bankruptcy and pay the utilities. So, my husband went back to school. I am so proud of him. He is a wonderful husband and father. A short time ago, I was hospitalized for food poisoning. No big deal, IV fluids and a few medications. The day after I was discharged, I noticed my arm turning red and swelling. I was diagnosed with a blood clot that extends from my shoulder to my wrist. I am out of work, and we have absolutely no income. My husband put in applications everywhere from fast food places to gas stations, and not so much as a phone call. We have three beautiful children. I worry about where to get our groceries, if we are going to get to keep our house. I cry everytime I see a Christmas commercial. I know gifts aren't a priority at this point, but how do you explain to kids that the gifts can't be afforded when they still believe in Santa. The water and electric bill are past due. The cable and the phone are already gone. I don't know where else to cut corners. We need help. Any help and lots of prayer. Thank you and God Bless.

I am a single mother of three children. I am a full time student and work full time. I dont recieve help from there father,except when he wants to. An i continue to struggle every single month. This i dont have half of my rent and I dont know what to do.

Hi my name is Tim.  I am a single father of two small children.  My wife died about 4 months ago.  I work full time, and go to school full time.  I would be considered an example of 'working poor'.  Although I've qualified for some financial aid, it's not nearly enough to cover all of my expenses.  I guess most schools figure that everyone going there is single and living with three other students.

For those who think I must be irresponsible and that I should pay for things myself, I would love to.  I would apply for my own personal loan to pay for school and all my expenses, but when I was in the air force stationed overseas, my father stole my credit and ruined it.  I came back to over $50,000 debt in my name.  None of which was mine.  I had to file bankruptcy shortly after getting back to the states.  So, to others I appear to be irresponsible, when in fact, I tried for months to pay down the debt, but was overwhelmed.

I would appreciate any size donation.  I don't want a hand-out, just a hand-up.  Once I have acheived my goal of a degree and my finanacial situation has improved, I pledge to help others as I have been helped.

I am 28 years old, the single mother of two beautiful daughters age 3 & 8. I am currently attending college here going for my Major in Computer Information Systems, with a Minor in Business. Life is a struggle, but I keep going for my kids. I know that if I keep doing what I'm doing now, their lives will be so much better because of it.
